Aside from channeling one of the latest fashion theme crazes, the Ocean Dreams series pays tribute to Spanish designer Jesús del Pozo, one of the photographer's favorite designers, who passed away last year. It does so by showcasing his fall/winter 2012 collection, which admirably carries on his legacy.
The Ocean Dreams photo series was shot by Spanish photographer Leyla Ugarte. The jellyfish-like prints, sparkles, sequins and nautical tailoring coupled with the oceanic backdrop gives the shoot a magical and mythological appeal that del Pozo would have been proud of. Nevertheless, Ugarte also congratulates designer Josep Font and his team "for the great work they are making in his absence."
