Color-Associating Artwork

The Synesthetic's Crayon Box by Grant Snider is an Experience

Grant Snider of Incidental Comics has produced a humorous infographic detailing synesthetic experiences with Crayons. Synesthesia is a phenomenon whereby people will associate sensory experiences with unrelated input from unrelated senses. Instead of just smelling the flowers, one would also hear the flowers, for instance.

In this vein, Grant Snider came up with a sensation for various colors of Crayons. Red is letter Q and Thursday is Green, apparently. Synesthesia is an interesting and downright bizarre experience.

Grant Snider's illustrations pique one's curiosity: if Crayons can produce such varied associations simply through color, then what would listening to Mozart while drinking orange juice while watching, say, '2001 A Space Odyssey' be like? Hopefully Grant Snider will make a comic about this experience.
