The Les Poupees collection appears to have bright bubbles forming delicately over the ceramic containers. Those bright bubbles, however, are glass-blown creations, not soapy liquid ones. A solid topper to the sleek and sophisticated bottom, it adds a punch of color to the otherwise monochromatic holder.
Created by Italian designer Luca Nichetto in collaboration with French gallerist Pascale Cottard Olsson in Stockholm, the Les Poupees collection is comprised of two parts. The glass top acts as a vase for flowers while the bottom portion is specifically made to hold candles. Les Poupees was influenced by "the pure lines of Finnish artist and designer Timo Sarpaneva and the colors of Italian maestro Ettore Sottsass to the silhouette of Japanese kokeshi wooden dolls," according to Cool Hunting.
