If you have $6,000 saved up in your piggy bank, you may want to break it open and head down to Guitar Center. The musical instrument superstore has unveiled plans to create limited edition Roland MV8800 drum machines, co-designed by hip hop artist RZA and engineer Bruce Forat, the engineer behind the likes of Prince and Dr. Dre. Only 8 of these will be made and are strictly for walk-in customers only. Adorned with unique Wu-Tang artwork and costing $4,000 over the MV8800's usual price, the machines will go on sale from 10pm on 28 February at Guitar Center's Hollywood store. The investment will mean a lot to the 8 lucky owners, who are also entitled to a private tutorial in the art of noise by the designer himself.
