Mixed Textile Sportswear

The Christopher Shannon Fall/Winter 2012 Line is a Material Mash-Up

Designed for a youthful demographic, the Christopher Shannon Fall/Winter 2012 line, presented recently at London Fashion Week, showcases an ultra-modern take on casual street styles. The designer label of monochromatic pieces used mixed textiles, combined various patterns and focused on color blocking in this latest offering.

A blue sweatshirt with black leather sleeves, a gray button-up featuring two different strips of plaid material making up its bottom and a pair of trousers that look like they were sewn together using different bandannas are all examples of this. The designer also uses the addition of zippers in peculiar placements to give the collection even more edge. The Christopher Shannon Fall/Winter 2012 collection may not complement everyone's taste, but if you like sportswear that is going to get you noticed for all the right reasons then this line is for you.
