While ultra-sophisticated, 50s-inspired looks have been taking the fashion world by storm for a few seasons now, and the Chadwick Bell Fall 2012 collection demonstrates how to pull off the look with a touch of edginess.

The California-born designer told Style.com that the line is inspired by "a perfect woman in an imperfect situation. She's well-kept but dangerous," he explains. "And her hair looks like she fell asleep in a cab."

Hemlines maintained that sophisticated feel, ending at the knee, and the fabrics are certainly luxurious, with leather, python, fox fur and silk all making appearances. However, paired with stockings, fun polka dot heels, and of course, that disheveled hair, the Chadwick Bell Fall 2012 collection is anything but tame.
