The Co-Creation Hub Helps Foster Social Innovation in Lagos

The Co-Creation Hub is a collaborative work space in Nigeria where social entrepreneurs and others wanting to participate in creating positive change can meet.

"CcHUB is Nigeria’s first open living lab and pre-incubation space designed to be a multi-functional, multi-purpose space where work to catalyze creative social tech ventures take place," the website explains. "The HUB is a place for technologists, social entrepreneurs, government, tech companies, impact investors and hackers in and around Lagos to co-create new solutions to the many social problems in Nigeria."

The Co-Creation Hub was founded by Bosun Tijani and Femi Longe in 2011 who wanted to create opportunities for social entrepreneurs to raise funding for their projects, and also to invest in the development of new social innovations and ideas. To help fund the venture, CcHUB offers consulting services, market research and product testing.

They are also active online, on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and even Google+, where they continue fostering community and encouraging members to network.
