The artist had purchased the hats for his sister and mother for Christmas. They were unfortunately not so grateful. So, Almon repurposed the ‘dirty fur ball hats.’ He decided there was nothing better to do with them than wear them everywhere. The result is this collection of adorable, child-like scenes. Captured with his newly acquired Fuji Instax Mini 55 camera, the photographs depict romance and fun that is definitely enviable. For a couple to come together and remain so wonderfully insane is as much as any artsy weirdo can hope for.
