The Chinese are apparently an incredibly efficient people, having just set the world record for the fastest traveling train and, more recently, built a 30-story hotel in 15 days -- that's 30 floors of a modern building built in 360 hours. A staggering feat, this entire event has been captured even more stunningly in a time-lapse video.

This video encompasses the construction workers' endeavor from factory production to actual building. The cameras were set to record day in and day out, so viewers can see the incremental progression of the hotel floor-by-floor during daylight, moonlight and any time in between. The project has broken several construction records and the resulting hotel can withstand a nine magnitude earthquake and apparently boasts nearly five times the energy efficiency of regular buildings.
