The Alicia Kuczman ELLE Brazil Editorial Has an Eastern Edge

The Alicia Kuczman ELLE Brazil editorial puts a moden spin on the traditional Japanese kimono. At times, the fashion designs retain the common straight-lined T-shape. Mostly, however, they diverge significantly for a more avant-garde rendition of the Asian garment. All of the outfits do sport an obi, the sash that cinches the garment at the waist.

Lensed by fashion photographer Manuel Nogueira for the magazine's February 2012 issue, the Alicia Kuczman ELLE Brazil editorial is bold and vibrant. Stylist Rita Lazzarotti gives the Eastern looks a high fashion edge through the use of daring colors, prints and textures. The contemporary haircuts that range from a sever bob to bright red locks and multi-hued makeup by beauty artist Henrique Martins completes the looks.
