Pet Lockers at Oslo Grocery Store Ensure Your Furry Friend is Safe

Blogger Henrick Eriksson recently wrote a post about some pet lockers he'd seen at a grocery store in Oslo, Norway. The pet lockers, or Hundehiet (which translates to Dog Den in Norwegian), allow pet owners to shop without having to worry about whether their furry friends are safe outside.

The pet lockers are metal containers in which you can put your dog so that it stays safe and dry while you go shop at the store. According to Eriksson, the cost of stowing your dog in one of the pet lockers is 10 Danish kroner, about $1.72 USD. This is a small price to pay to ensure your dog is safe from potential pet thieves -- dog theft is a big problem in Europe and in the United States, says PSFK -- or inclement weather.
