Actress Turned Designer

Kirsten Dunst for Lutz & Patmos

Kirsten Dunst is a true fashion star this year. After posing for Miu Miu's campaign, she is again on fire, but this time enriching her resume with a performance as designer.

She is the latest celebrity diversifying her main career by debuting her fashion collection. She teamed with a cashmere giant to create a capsule collection for the luxury knitwear brand Lutz and Patmos last Sunday, with a party at the Manhattan Museum during NY Fashion Week.

Kirsten follows Sofia Coppola, Christy Turlington , Richard Meier and Julienne Moore and Liv Tyler who all designed some luxury garments and dream sweaters for Tina Lutz and Marcia Patmos.

One of the pieces is a long crewneck sweater that can also be worn as a dress. A few of the designs are featured in the gallery.
