When it comes to the chocolate brand Elio Di Luca simplicity is key. The company not only favors a minimal amount of ingredients in its products, its wrapper reinforces this bare bones approach to artisan goods. The packaging, designed by Barcelona-based design firm Puigdemont Roca, features clean, detailed shots of edible items that add flavoring to the different types of chocolate. Ranging from a particularly breath-taking cross section of an orange to an inviting capture of a glass of frothy milk, these arresting wrappers have you salivating before you even pull away the foil.

The rest of the package is left relatively unadorned. The predominantly black wrapper serves as a preview for the glossy dark chocolate it houses. The drool-worthy food photography pops dramatically against the package's dark background, drawing the consumer's eye directly to the seductive captures.
