The One-Time Injection Needle is designed to help diseases from spreading via syringe sharing. A lack of funds and proper training can be a deadly combination as the same syringe is used multiple times in rural clinic. Koo's redesign incorporates a piece of hard elastic that stops the needle from drawing after a second use. The word "used" also appears along the syringe in case someone needs an overt warning not to use the needle again.
