Unless some divine miracle occurs, Ro-Ad's 'Sunken Bridge' will be the closest anyone will ever get to seeing a version of Moses' parted Red Seas.

The 'Sunken Bridge' was built as a part of Ro-Ad's restoration project for the West Brabant Water Line. In order to gain access to the Fort de Roovere, the designers got creative and decided to build this unique bridge that "sits within the water and slope," according to Accoyawood. As a result, the team created a practical piece without skewing the natural aesthetics of the historic landmark. The bridge was constructed with Accoyawood's eco-friendly timber which is non-toxic and prevents fungal decay.
