Movable Ink Launches Service to Stream Live Content into Emails

Movable Ink launched a new service that allows live contents to be streamed into emails making them much more engaging.

Essentially, the technology is capable of altering the content of the email after it has been sent out. This can be based on a variety of variants such as time email is opened, recipients’ current location, social cues and fast moving inventory. The service works across all email clients.

The company is now taking the service one step further with the launch of a Streaming Server that allows businesses to stream live content into emails. It is on an animated gif file, as it is actually pulling live content from the web while open. Furthermore, the recipient doesn’t need to download special software or use a specific email client.
