MOD Ski Goggles Load up Stats in Real Time Down the Slopes

For those who remember Recon Instruments’ Recon-Ready Goggles, the company’s new MOD Ski Goggles are a pair of specs even more impressive than the last.

Much like the Recon-Ready shades, the MOD Ski Goggles integrate multimedia capability into the design. There are two models in this series, both of which track and display your progress in real time through your eyes. Think of looking through the helmet of Iron Man, but for skiing. The first is the MOD, which essentially provides information such as speed, distance, air time and where you're going thanks to the GPS navigation system. Then there’s the MOD Live that provides all the performance statistics, but with the addition of an Android platform. This means the wearer can answer calls, read texts, listen to music and handle apps wirelessly. You can also attach a sports camera from Recon to record your ski runs.
