American Apparel Lip Gloss Released in Stores & Online

Everyone's favorite (hipster) clothing retailer American Apparel has launched a line of lip glosses. The American Apparel lip glosses are currently available in 50 of the clothing brand's stores as well as online.

There are nine of the new American Apparel lip glosses, each of which costs $12 and has a fun and sassy name like 'Pantytime,' 'Micromesh' and 'Topless.' Created using the same manufacturing principles as the brand uses for its USA cotton basics pieces, the glosses were designed to provide a non-sticky application that moisturizes the lips. Each gloss also offers a pretty, natural color that looks great on everyone, says Marsha Brady, American Apparel's creative director.

Last year, American Apparel launched a line of nail polishes, so it looks like the retailer is trying to build up its beauty portfolio.
