As winter keeps fast approaching, the selection of warm clothing is keep getting bigger, as shown in the latest Qiu Hao F/W 2011 Serpens collection. The Shanghai-born designer Qui Hao created a series of extravagant pieces that are both futuristic and mysterious.
Lensed by photographer Matthieu Belin, the black and white line plays with texture and sizes to create a whole new concept of winter wear. Ebony gigantic capes with oversized hoods are adorned with hairy fur; white puffy coats with massive collars elegantly wrap up the neck.
Qui Hao is a renowned young designed that has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Haper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel,V magazine, WWD,Fast Company and The Wall Street Journal; additionaly, he was named in 2010 by Forbes as the most important 25 Chinese Fashion people.
