The Battlefield 3 Gameplay Footage Video is Epic

As the war of the various first-person shooter clones rages on, the Battlefield 3 gameplay footage video (an action-packed video 12 minutes in length) surfaces in all its HD glory.

The game is set to release on October 25th of this year, approximately 2 weeks before its rival Modern Warfare 3 hits shelves. Battlefield 3, however, is no clone this time around, and is pushing the boundaries of the genre with more than just graphics, as the physics of movement in the game are incredibly lifelike. EA has decided to introduce much more intricate gameplay in its third iteration, allowing players to utilize tanks, fighter jets and more. The Battlefield 3 gameplay footage video gives fans a taste of these features.

The Modern Warfare (also known as 'Call of Duty') franchise has had much success in the past with its previous iterations; however, this will be the first time the video game developers will be publishing a CoD version separate from their old employers 'Activision.'
