The Lady Gaga You and I Nymph Video is Stunningly Simple

Lady Gaga can be described as being many thing, but simple and minimalistic are not typically words you would use -- until the release of the Lady Gaga You and I Nymph video.

After collaborating with Mother Monster on V Magazine's Asian-inspired issue earlier this summer, photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin have teamed up with the world's biggest pop star once again to release the Lady Gaga You and I Nymph video.

The video is uncharacteristically simple and to be honest, quite stunning. This is the best Gaga has looked in a long time, and reminds me a lot of her September 2010 Vanity Fair cover, in which Gaga wore little more than gray hair down to her waist and gorgeous jewels.

Lady Gaga tweeted her little monsters before the release of the video, saying, "Have a surprise for Little Monsters! Didn’t just shoot 1 You and I music video. 5 more fashion films to come by Inez Van Lamsweerde. 1st in 3 hrs."

I sincerely hope that Gaga sticks to this minimalistic look for a while, but I think that may be wishful thinking. Here's hoping.
