'Say Something Nice' Channels Positive Energy to Pedestrians

I'm sure most people wish that something like the 'Say Something Nice' public improv was around more often when times are tough.

'Say Something Nice' is an ongoing collaboration between Improv Everywhere and the Guggenheim Museum. So what is it exactly? Two people set up a podium and megaphone right in New York's Union Square that encourages others to spread positive messages. What transpires is a series of inspiring and optimistic public messages that strangers send to one another on the streets. Whether it's "Have a Nice Day" or "I Love You All," the project proves to be the best use of a megaphone possible. Some of the citizens have even gotten creative by incorporating music into their messages. Hopefully Improv Everywhere and the Guggenheim Museum will continue to create more encouraging public displays.
