There is something very calming about the Surface Cabinet. From its simple design to its curving lines and ashy coloring, it really has a zen quality about it. More than that, it also has an artistic presence since its curving details give it a sculptural look overall.
Created by Swedish designer Jessika Källeskog of CONTOUR, the Surface Cabinet imbued all of these details, and therefore has a three-dimensional aesthetic. I particularly love the contrast between its general boxy shape and the soft wavy door, which undulates forward as well. The resulting bulging shape makes it a serene and harmonic furniture piece for the home.
The Surface Cabinet is made out of a grainy oak veneer.
