There is definitely a whimsical sense of summer in the Retro Adventures photo series. It is as though it captures a forest nymph who has decided to live out the rest of her life in the modern, human world (think 'The Little Mermaid'). This fantastical quality is not only due to the beautiful flower crowns that she insists on wearing, but also with the beautiful lighting techniques used that gives the Retro Adventures series a colorfully hazy finish.
Photographed by Andrei Fantana, the Retro Adventures photo series does focus on the nostalgic love for vintage clothing, hence the title of this portfolio. The quietness of the setting is reflected in the styling done by Isabela Hentiu, makeup done by Diana Ionescu and hair by Anca Macavei. It was modeled by Elena Natura.
