The Boxing Kitten Fall 2011 Line is Inspired by WWII G.I. Pin-Up Models

Color might be a huge fashion fad right now, but it is nice to see some pattern thrown into the mix thanks to the Boxing Kitten Fall 2011 collection. Although just as chromatic as many other collections out there, the hues are rather subdued to let these plethora of retro patterns take precedence.

With its Hollandaise prints and Ankara fabrics, the collection was influenced by WWII G.I. pin-up favorites like Betty Grable. As you can see throughout the lookbook, the designs evoke the spirit and lives of these mid-Century American women.

Although the Boxing Kitten Fall 2011 collection may seem slightly overwhelming considering that the lookbook focuses on pairing all these print creations together, they can easily be mixed and matched into more manageable outfits.
