The Klaus Enrique Veggie and Fruit Portraits Look Good Enough to Eat

Klaus Enrique is a New York-based photographer who has created some pretty amazing works of art using fruits, vegetables and flowers. Enrique was originally inspired to work with food after he photographed a human eye peeking out amongst a pile of leaves and realized that he could use the leaves to make a portrait that looked human.

While I'm sure portraits made of leaves would have looked awesome, I'm glad Enrique passed them up in favor of working with food. These images are stunning, especially the profile made out of flowers. People often remark that art looks good enough to eat, and that statement has never been truer than when directed at the work of Klaus Enrique.
