Breakdancing Gorillas

Zola the Gorilla can Seriously Bust a Move

It looks as though the Calgary Zoo has a smooth moving star on its hands with Zola the gorilla. This 8-year-old western lowland gorilla might need a talent agent after a video was posted on YouTube showing the gorilla busting out some pretty sweet moves inside his enclosure.

Zookeepers captured Zola the gorilla spinning, sliding and splashing through a puddle late last week and later added some music to accompany the already amusing clip.

The zoo officials say the puddle was added to the enclosure as part of the zoo's enrichment program after noticing Zola and the other gorillas enjoyed spending time in the water. Not surprisingly, Zola the gorilla came to the Calgary Zoo two years ago from New York city, the original birthplace of breakdance.
