Marshall Massive Major Pumps up the Volume for Heavy Listening

It's no secret that Marshall has entered into the headphone business. Having two models out already, meet the latest edition to the family: the Marshall Massive Major.

With the Marshall Massive Major, the company has gone for the ear muff style. Those who already own a Marshall product will be happy to see that the headband uses the exact same vinyl material that makes up the amp. Specs-wise, the frequency response is at 20-20kHz, 15mW rate input power with a maximum of 20mW. These are cellphone compatible if you're the type who uses a smartphone as the primary MP3 player. Another useful feature is that the Massive Major can be folded for easy storage when you're not using them.

Marshall's has had a solid reputation over the years as one of the most dominant guitar amp manufacturers. It'll be exciting to see how they'll evolve in the headphones department.
