The Facebook Roast is Harsh and Hilarious

The folks behind CollegeHumor are back at it with their latest original creation, the Facebook Roast.

Roasts are a cherished longstanding tradition in the comedy community. The set-up features one person (the Roastee) who sits in front of the room as a parade of friends, acquaintances and strangers make a series of harsh personal, vulgar, and biting jokes. At the end of the event, the Roastee gets a chance to return the favor. The historical roots of roasts actually extends back as far as the 1920's where the New York Friar's Club held private events in which celebrities got roasted.

The Facebook Roast features a collection of other social media sites (voiced by real-life roast veteran comedians Penn Jillete, Gilbert Gottfried and Lisa Lampanelli) taking turns trading potshots. The Facebook roast is a must watch for any social media user or fan of stand up comedy.
