I don't know why I am surprised by the Roll Me from Omer Sagiv. Roll-up keyboards are slowly becoming more common, so I guess it only makes sense that a roll-up computer would be next.
The Roll Me computer is designed like a scroll and has a bendable e-paper screen. The computer can be used in either portrait or landscape mode, and is an off-the-grid design powered by solar panels.
While I like the idea behind this design, I am not in love with its built-in keyboard, which is oddly shaped and small. Regardless, of my keyboard preferences, I believe that designs like this are the future of portable computing. Who wouldn't want to roll up their 17-inch laptop and put it in their back pocket?
