GQ Australia June/July 2011 Explores Decades of Dapper Dandies

Retro for the Cool in GQ Australia June/July 2011 features model Mitchell King as a men's style icon from several different decades. Stylist Wayne Gross channeled eight distinct style silhouettes: 70s disco, 20s Duke of Windsor preppy, 50s Hollywood bad boy, retro sophisticated gentleman, noir, mid-century Mad Men, stark 90s elegance and modern cowboy.

Photographer Adrian Mesko captured Mitchell King in fall separates from designers like Chronicles of Never, Guess, Calvin Klein, Lacoste, Paul Smith, Kenzo, Emporio Armani, Louis Vuitton and Prada. King wears each look well, exuding confidence, edginess and undeniable masculinity.

My favorite look from Retro for the Cool in GQ Australia June/July 2011 is the one that channels 90s sophistication. The skinny tie combined with the matching three-quarter length coat and white pants is pure perfection.
