Driu & Tiago Play With Creative Cinching in Wonderland Magazine

For the latest issue of Wonderland Magazine, photography duo Driu & Tiago capture a wrapped-up Alina Baikova. Stylist Grace Cobb used duct tape and plastic wrap judiciously to creatively cinch outfits from Prada, Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu.

The way in which the outfits are cinched gives Alina Baikova an androgynous look. In some photos, her breasts are bound; in others, her hips are wrapped tightly. The oddest images of the editorial are those in which Baikova's rear end is cinched in a wedgielike fashion, such as the first shot in the gallery. Her minimalist, natural makeup and slicked-back hair only add to the editorial's gender-bending aesthetic.

Duct tape and plastic wrap have been used for decades in the fashion industry as quick figure fixes, insulation for hair treatments and impromptu alternatives to sewing kits; it's no wonder Driu & Tiago played up these elements for Wonderland Magazine.
