The newest ad from Nike Sportswear's 'Sport is Art' series continues Nike's seemingly unstoppable streak of creating original, imaginative advertisements that are envy of fashion and sportswear companies around the world.
The new commercial serves as a prime example of what can happen when corporate and creative forces converge under a single vision, and the artist is granted autonomy to create something unique while still promoting the brand's message. Many of the shirts are held together by 'throwback' theme, displaying shoes that could make just about anyone nostalgic for the halcyon days of the early to mid-1990's.
In addition to the new commercial, Nike transformed the NSW store in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong into an art gallery where they displayed the 'Sport is Art' collection, which contains 25 different designs from street artists, designers and illustrators spanning 11 countries and 5 continents.
You can view the Nike Sportswear 'Sport Is Art' Collection in Causeway Bay, Hong Knog from May 17th-26th, or by clicking through our gallery.
