Google I/O 2011 is a little too geeky for my tastes, but I can't help but be jealous at the herd of nerds who get to play with the giant Google Xoom labyrinth featured at the show. Google has built a massive labyrinth controlled by a Motorola Xoom tablet running Android software, naturally.
The massive labyrinth table works just like its smaller cousins, with players trying to guide a mall through a maze while trying to avoid the labyrinth's many pitfalls. In most real-world recreations of the game the ball is small, but in the giant Google Xoom labyrinth game, the ball is huge, taking the form of a bowling ball.
The game itself is incredible to see in action, and the Motorola Xoom tablet is a really responsive controller. Check out the game in action in the video here.
