The Festival of Ideas took place in NYC last weekend and a lot of cool concepts have since gone viral. One of the coolest concepts featured in the festival was the Audi Urban Future Initiative, which showcased different solutions for urban spaces.
The Audi Urban Future Initiative was very colourful and equally futuristic in their attempt to transform urban landscapes, especially the Alison Brooks Architects exhibit. Inspirational website PSFK said of the exhibition, “The centerpiece of the exhibition was the Manhattan scale model proposal for 2030. One interesting element of the model was neighborhoods bridged by a common architectural signature.”
Colourful geometric shapes paired with white conceptual designs were common throughout the Audi Urban Future Initiative. I only wish I could have had the opportunity to see this futuristic exhibit in person.
