Lately I've noticed a lot of modern and minimalist photo shoots, so it was refreshing when I stumbled upon the Wild at Heart editorial. This whimsical, Western-themed spread is both glamorous and somehow gritty. With a horse ranch backdrop and two statuesque models, how could it not be?
Photographed by David Burton for Elle Russia's May 2011 issue, the Wild at Heart editorial features Valentina Zelyaeva and Andreea Diaconu. The shoot was styled by Daria Anichkina, who obviously went for a very cowgirl look. She pulled mainly from the Ralph Lauren Spring 2011 collection.
Although the Wild at Heart editorial has a very period look to it, as though it could have been shot during the peak of the Wild West, I can still easily see these outfits rocked today.
