In Lagenbruck, Germany, you can find the one and only Big Nose World Championship. Yes, a competition where people sign up to see if they have the largest nose in the world.

Since 1961, Lagenbruck has been hosting the annual Big Nose World Championship. The idea of this wacky competition started when a group of hop growers went to a local pub and started making fun of each other's huge noses. A few weeks later, these hop growers even started The Big Nose Club. As long as you had a nose that was 60-mm-long or 40-mm-wide, you were able to join this exclusive club.

Every five years, the Big Nose World Championship is held and out come these men and women who have no shame in showing off their noses. Who knows what other weird competitions this contest would inspire?
