Philip Luschen Combines Curious Objects as Waiting Room Art

Philip Luschen, a conceptual art student at the Design Academy Eindhoven, recently completed his fourth year project entitled 'Distractors.'  Without any clear method, system, or organization, Luschen’s 'Distractors' includes different collections of some very random and hard-to identify objects.

Using a very neutral palette of colours including black, red, white, grey, beige and peach and various pieces of metal, Philip Luschen created 'Distractors' as a way to liven up dauntingly boring waiting rooms or bare hallways. He hopes that his conceptual art project will provide onlookers with a spark of inspiration and imagination, or an escape from the dull environments that offices or waiting areas often create.

These forward-thinking and truly original clusters can be mounted to a wall, hung from a ceiling or set on a table.
