Artist JKB Fletcher has created this series of ultra-realistic paintings entitled ‘Dirty Faces.’
The series focuses on superheroes and their notable outfits, such as Superman and his infamous ‘S’ logo as well as Spiderman and his webbed costume. The paintings are creatively and uniquely titled, such as ‘Cleaverage 10’ and ‘Tit for Tat 11.’ All of JKB Fletcher’s paintings make no reference to their superhero counterparts, making it difficult to figure out who is who.
The paintings are extreme close-ups of female body parts and each painted-on clothing piece is streaking as if it were wet. JKB Fletcher has created an ultra-unique series that displays a sensual aspect of masked crusaders. Fletcher has an aesthetic that is not seen from many painters. The Dirty Faces series is extremely realistic and sensually beautiful.
