Alexander McQueen 'Savage Beauty' Exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum

The world witnessed the "wedding of the century" this year, with the stunning princess-bride Kate Middleton. She was dressed in a beautiful wedding gown designed by Sarah Burton, the long-time assistant of the legendary Alexander McQueen and current director of his namesake label.

Now, those feeling nostalgic or curious can see extraordinary pieces designed by Alexander McQueen at the 'Savage Beauty' exhibit in New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, launched on May 2nd with the attendance of luminaries such as Anna Wintour and Stella McCartney.

The exhibit showcases his masterful tailoring and artistry, inspired by dark themes of death and misogyny. The pieces on display are primarily from the Givenchy archive in Paris and the Alexander McQueen archive in London, as well as private collections.

The incredible art exhibit will be open to the public on May 4th until July 31st.
