The LG Slide Makes Internet Browsing a Breeze

Jason Betty is the designer behind the LG Slide, a smartphone that aims to make Internet browsing and gaming easier with its retractable screen. The Slide has a built-in screen that's more than triple the phone's width.

When the LG Slide's screen is pulled out, the phone's main screen acts as a trackpad for the mouse. Text is entered in on the main screen's full QWERTY keyboard, which can be used at any time. I am loving this design as I find smartphone Internet browsing cumbersome at best. I do, however, have some concerns with the screen's length. The longer the screen, the higher the chance for damage if accidentally dropped or spilled on. Still, you're probably not as klutzy as me, which means you will definitely want to get a good look at the LG Slide and consider it as your next phone.
