Forget about only expecting in-room wireless and posh toiletries in the bath. To be up to today's standards, hotel rooms aren't complete without their own yoga mats and free organic teas, especially those geared at younger businesses travelers.

Naumi, the newest boutique hotel to open in Singapore, is sleek and sexy, despite it being in one of the quaintest districts of the buzzing island nation. “Need to make a last-minute lunch meeting reservation?” the brochure practically purrs in first-person. “Finger ping me and I'll do the rest.”

Totally wired so guests can get those urgent messages whether they're lounging poolside or in the stylish bar, Naumi is designed so all your senses are primed for the ultimate experience away from home. You're assigned a personal Naumi Aide who is on call 24/7 the whole time you're checked in. The bedsheets on the king-sized beds are 300 thread-count, and the bathroom sink is lined with botanical-based Aesop bath amenities. The lobby lounge, decked out in plush white leather, provides a sophisticated venue for breakfast meetings, then transforms into a whiskey bar (herbal teas are available as well) when the sun goes down.

There are gym facilities on three floors, two of them catering to aerobic workouts and weight-training, while one is a 24 hour Yoga Room. So no matter what time it is when you arrive, feel free to de-stress with a few sun salutations – at the gym, or in the comfort of your own room. Should you prefer to spend your downtime doing something a bit more exciting, bedside entertainment includes a wide selection of movies (you can ask for popcorn to be brought up), the latest Xbox 360, or Nintendo Wii.
