Deer Hunting Linked With Heart Disease

A recent study by Susan Haapaniemi and colleagues at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oaks, Michigan, shows that there is a link between deer hunting and coronary heart disease or risk factors for heart disease. Huh? Have we stumbled upon a hidden system of universal checks and balances? I don't think so. Of 25 hunters, 17 had heart disease and the rest were overweight, smoked, or had high blood pressure or cholesterol. Shocking! I think the study simply shows that 25 guys who like to shoot things were fat and/or out of shape.
