TiFinity

$50 Titanium Toothbrush

I was wondering how a toothbrush would look like if Philippe Starck would design it when looking at his O-ring watch. Well, I haven't found a toothbrush yet designed by him, but I did come across the TiFinity toothbrush.

The TiFinity is a radical new design by dentist Dane Robinson from Arizona. The bristles are made out of titanium and are ultrafine and according to sources, even softer than a regular soft toothbrush. With this new toothbrush you can reach the space between your teeth and the gums where bacteria hides. Unlike nylon, titanium doesn't absorb water and is thus more bacteria resistant and also lasts longer. According to Robinson's tests it should last 2 years. According to dr. Dane Robinson "it's the finest, most durable toothbrush ever built and it's more hygienic. It feels better, stimulates your gums better and it'll really give you better oral health."
