KidRex.org Lets Children Surf Without Risk of Finding Bad Content

Parents have accepted there’s no stopping children from going online, but that doesn’t mean their anxiety levels about their little ones stumling across inappropriate content are any lower. Fortunately, they can now take a deep breath.

KidRex.org is a child-safe search engine powered by Google. With a playful crayon-motif, the “safe search for kids, by kids” uses Google SafeSearch filter technology.

Unlike expensive ‘Net Nanny’ products, this search engine is totally free, requires no installation and can be used for computers anywhere.

Another neat feature about KidRex is that they crowd source the site images, asking children to submit their own drawings for a chance to be featured on the KidRex search engine site.
