I think this is a fantastic concept. ReWalk exoskeleton is working on a design that would enable paraplegics to not only walk but to stand and even climb the stairs. The concept is based on batteries and sensors and a computer-based control system. "The challenge here is to design something that imitates a human walking, including universal fit for a broad range of user height and weight measurements, as well as a low profile that is both contemporary and user friendly" says tuvie. ReWalk Exoskeleton is expected to go on sale by 2009.
