Bio-Mechanical Sculptures

The Work of Christopher Conte

Christopher Conte is a New York educated sculptor who began drawing at age 3.

In 2007, Conte began offering his really unique pieces of art for sale to the public for the first time and his work has been recently covered in Wired, Popular Science, Make Magazine, and used by The Discovery Channel and MTV Networks. Mr Conte makes some pretty menacing (but cool-looking) bio-mechanical sculptures of robot insects and Terminator-esque skulls and the movement of his dynamic insect prototypes can be controlled with microprocessors. None of these pieces of art are really functional but its really great artwork!
