Bonding Deeply with Animals

Protecting the Welfare of a Lion

The woman in this video found an injured lion in the forest who would have likely died had he not taken him with her and nursed him back to health. When the lion recovered, she made arrangements with a zoo that agreed to take him in and provide a safe haven for him to live.

The video was taken when the woman returned to the zoo some time later to visit the Lion to see how he was doing. Watch the Lion's reaction when he sees her.
