Magitti turns Cell Phone into Personal Assistant

Based on your location, time of day and your past behavior, Magitti cell phone software will present you with a list of personal suggestions. These suggestions include concerts, movies, shops, bookstores and restaurants. As time goes on Magitti “learns” more about you and refines its suggestions accordingly. Magitti software will be introduced in Tokyo in 2009, the rest of us will have to make do finding places ourselves!

Implications - The researchers that developed the Magitti cell phone software are found at the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). They wanted to create something that would "push the phone farther" in terms of its capabilities. It is a great thing to have whether you're bored or indecisive.
