Ornamental Libraries

The Bookman Shelf

The 'Bookman', pictured here, is a decorative, yet functional piece of furniture, designed and sold in England by artist Kazmierz Szmauz. The construction is wooden, usually made of mahogany.

While it certainly takes more space that a traditional bookshelf, these displays are much more creative and they can add a lot of character to a rather mundane home library.

Bonus: The “Bookman” is available in three different postures, as shown on the company's website.
